I am looking for the best low-cost Android tablet on the market, to be bought in bulk (~100 units per month).
Background: this will be to run a single travel app in lock-down mode, with beautiful, inspiring photographs as a core part of the app, to be distributed in hotels.
Tablet spec:
- Android OS
- large screen (~10 inches, not 7 inches)
- high-quality screen, with smooth transitions
- only Wifi needed, not 3G / 4G
- has CE certification
- new or refurbished, not second-hand
- features not needed / not important: sound, camera, storage, battery capacity. Screen quality, fluidity and quality of touch interface is key
- not 'grey-market' tablets (i.e. fake Samsung etc)
Price:
- Max: $175 per unit (bulk pricing) - ideally lower
The tablet can be either:
1) from a well-known brand (e.g. Samsung, Sony, LG, Lenovo, Asus etc) offering a model that matches the requirements above, but that can be sourced in quantity at a low enough price
2) from an unknown brand, but tablet quality must match spec above (i.e. nice screen, e.g. IPS etc)
Output needed:
- Names and links to suppliers, specific web-pages from which tablets can be ordered and links to specific products
- A shortlist of up to 8-10 options would be good
