Japanese interpreter I am a mental health expert in trauma based in Melbourne, Australia. I provide consultation to community groups and university-based research projects in Japan that relate to trauma. I am looking for a freelance Japanese interpreter who is interested, and able to work in this challenging area with me over the next few years. If the projects I am working on proceed well, I imagine that I will need your service for online, simultaneous interpretation for a couple of hours each time, every couple of months. From time to time, I might need translation of written works too. Familiarity with Japanese history and culture would be an advantage.
