Konnichiwa!
I saw the project "Translate English to Japanese," and I felt I have the ability to carry out that job.
The reasons for this are as follows.
1. I am a Japanese native speaker.
2. I have full professional proficient English skills. (The reason why is detailed below.)
3. I have exceptional experience in terms of writing skills in Japanese. (The reason why is detailed below.)
I'm Yasuo Mitani, Japanese.
Software Engineer skilled in English for 20 years.
My primary task is programming, but I often translate EN technical specifications, email, manual, and other material into JP or vice versa. I used to stay in the U.K and the U.S for five years when I was a child. I learned the necessary English skills there. I still take English lessons, communicate with overseas friends, and watch "BBC Learning [login to view URL]" to improve my English. Most Japanese are not good at English, so I play the role of translation in the project. Mainly when writing specifications, quality is essential. (e.g.).Mistranslation, Untranslated, Omission, Grammar, Ambiguity, Unintelligible, and Format (Number, Date, Time, Currency, and Address).)
I understand how difficult it is to translate documents in highly specialized fields. Terminology is important, so if there are words already prepared, it would be beneficial.
I want to hear more in detail.
Thanks.
Yasuo Mitani
