Proposed Activity to create dynamic visual calendar in excel from weekly promotions/forecast data. We would like the customer logo inserted into the calendar down the left and also our internal brand logo inserted in the row at the beginning which can be linked to from our sharepoint site. So the vb code to lookup up and insert an image into the correct excel field is required. 1 Use the Grid Set-up list to set-up the rows required for the supplied list of Promotional Activity Refresh the pivot table to start with See structure on Grid set-up tab plus example on Calendar Tab 2 Add a "Summary block" to the calendar for each activity items see style and content on list data tab Use the week number, customer, brand to determine where the block is added onto the calendar Grid note if more than 1 promotion in a month for a customer and brand then they will need to go on separate lines so they don't overlap (this maybe needs something a little more clever as something in week 4 of a month running for 4 weeks may overlap something in the next month. Or we can leave the user to manually adjust for this??) The summary block is made up from a number of fields of data. The block will need to be adjusted for length based on how many weeks the activity run for. I do not have a preference for using pasted text boxes or inserting the test into merged or "centered across" cells. the centred across cells could be useful if they wanted to filter the calendar. when adding a block onto the calendar, add into the top row for the calendar a formula to show for the weeks of the promotion, what the customers week number is. There is a lookup list for this. See attached xlsm file - calendar tab for output

After reviewing the task, I offer to work on the task with pleasure. Hello, I have years of experience in designing VBA-based Excel applications with or without Access database connectivity (in MS Office suite). My applications were used mainly in quality supervision departments. They were used for various purposes, e.g. to support the audit system, where the application worked in the company network. Each user could perform their tasks in their own Excel file, from where the data migrated to a shared database on the network and were available to everyone. I myself use Excel for automated emailing. This is all done with VBA (which is built into every Excel). My Excel also updates my contacts in my email program's Address Book and on my smartphone, generates ready-made html code to paste into a website, etc. Of course, here you sometimes need additional software (usually free) and sometimes a little manual support (not so good :) Regards, TEKK7

Hello, I have 15 years of Excel experience including VBA. I can add your internal brand logo in. If there is a fixed folder with customer logos in it along with a sheet with customer names and logo names beside them I can add them down the side of the calendar. If there is more than one promotion in a week per customer and brand then I can insert a row. If a promotion carries over to a second month then I will create a sperate summary box. I would prefer to not use text boxes for the Summary boxes but to create "centred across" text over one or more column. I hope we can discuss in more detail soon so as I can get started ASAP.
