Champak’s Curriculum with its vibrant designs, easy-to-follow instructions, educational toys and fun activities is made for maximum involvement and makes learning engaging for both– your child and you. Designed for children who are 1.5 to 2.5 years and 2.5 to 3.5 years, the curriculum is primarily crafted according to the DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practices) methodology because there is a systematic way we need to teach our children. In conjunction with DAP, the Champak Curriculum is also designed using the Multiple Intelligence Theory which is a blend of pedagogies. By utilizing a mix of teaching methods we have curated a rounded learning experience. Competition Flintobox- Flintobox has kits which are similar to ours. They also have Flintoclass@home which is a hybrid curriculum with a kit and pre-recorded classes. Eurokids- A franchise with both online and offline classes ABCMouse- They have an online curriculum in various subjects Xplorabox- Offline learning kit similar to us. Byju’s- Has online worksheets Magic Crate- Offline learning kit similar to us. SquarePanda- A multisensory neuroscience research-based phonics learning system comes with educational games to teach children many essential skills and has a curriculum that has been specially adapted for Indian schools and children. Conventional Schooling June-July-August Curriculum In this quarter little ones will learn all about the monsoon. June is ‘All about me’ where children learn about themselves, their gender and identity, among other things. In July they’ll enjoy the pitter-patter of rains and the ‘Monsoon’ as they enjoy songs on the rains, cook seasonal food like corn and discover snails and frogs which come out at this time. They’ll celebrate Father’s day, Doctor’s day and Independence day! A Peek into our Enrichment Box The child gets colourful, theme-based worksheets for June, July and August with a list of activities for everyday along with the necessary materials. There are 6 educational toys including stringing beads and hammer and cylinder toys for the child to develop various skills. Our expert team has crafted target learning outcomes and identified themes that are interesting to children. These activities and toys are fashioned for ease of use by young children, safety, and ability to meet target learning outcomes and of course, the fun quotient! Briefs The website needs to be child-friendly with the use of vibrant colours. Also the flavour of Champak needs to be incorporated throughout the curriculum. The site should be easy to navigate. If the site is interactive with moving images, it would make it more engaging to use. Schedule -For a better understanding of the project and our requirements, we have put down the important milestones, which will help us function smoothly. 1. We will share a file with one month’s curriculum with you, which has to be laid out. The curriculum will already have comments which need to be incorporated. 2. In the span of 2 days time, you share with us 5 days-worth of the inside pages (from the time-table) – for example, how will the activity sheets look, font options for inside text, the styling of the index, etc to give us the look and feel of the curriculum. You can send a pdf to us where we will insert our comments. This will help us move forward and work on a fine-tuned layout. Through this, we both will be sure what to expect from the final version. Here, your doubts about the activities or certain other aspects of the curriculum can be cleared. 3. We will share our detailed feedback in 2 days and clarify your doubts. 4. Illustrations for stories and real-life images will be sourced by us and shared separately with you.
