Location: Aruba (Remote work available) Type: Part-time (30 hours/week) About Prestige Vacations Aruba: Prestige Vacations Aruba is a leading vacation destination company offering premium experiences to our guests. We are looking for a passionate Junior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development and a keen eye for design. Key Responsibilities: Web Development: Design and develop websites from scratch without the use of CMS. Recreate similar websites for other brands under our portfolio. Manage and maintain these websites, ensuring they are up-to-date and optimized. Handle technical edits and updates in our Property Management System (PMS). SEO Management: Implement and manage SEO strategies for the websites to ensure high rankings on search engines. WordPress Management: Oversee our existing websites based on WordPress themes, ensuring they are functional, updated, and aligned with our brand image. E-mail Design & Management: Design visually appealing e-mail templates using HTML and CSS. Assist with the management of our SMTP server to ensure e-mails are delivered to recipients' inboxes. XML Data Management: Understand the structure of .xml files. Parse and visualize data from .xml files for various applications. Qualifications: Basic understanding of web development languages, primarily HTML and CSS. Familiarity with WordPress and its themes. Experience with SEO best practices. Knowledge of .xml file structures and parsing techniques. Ability to design visually appealing e-mail templates. Basic understanding of SMTP servers and e-mail delivery mechanisms. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Information: While our headquarters are located in Aruba, this role is open to remote candidates. However, occasional meetings aligned with Aruba's time zone may be required. Continuous learning opportunities will be provided to stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
