correct paragraph numbering of a document created on an Apple, modified in MS Word

my document was created on an Apple, modified in MS Word and the paragraph numbering won't follow on from the previous paragraph. I need someone to import the document into their Apple Machine and correct it all the way through, so that it automatically numbers correctly. The document is a 12 page Agreement with 19 main paragraphs each about 3-5 sub-paragraphs and a few sub-sub paragraphs, with 4 Annexures of 11 pages of paragraphs and sub-paragraphs, totalling 23 pages.
