I have a structure of folders, with Word documents. These folder structure is placed at Google Drive (see image attached).
In each folder I have about 60 individual documents, which I cannot convert in one big document.
Each document has a header with a company logo.
This logo is placed in the external folder, called "logo" and all documents refer to this folder+file to connect with the logo and to reflect it correctly in the document. This cannot be just a hyperlink, because in Word will be shown the hyperlink, not the logo.
Using a Word macro would probably require to have all the documents active (=open). That is not workable.
Summary:
- I have a folder structure with about 60 Word documents
- In each Word document is used [login to view URL] in the header, individually introduced.
- I want to put the [login to view URL] in the folder "Logo" and refer to that in all the Word documents, having it showed correctly
- I want to be able copy the complete folder/file structure to another place
- Then change the [login to view URL] in destination folder "Logo" to LogoB.jpg.
- When I open one of the Word files in the destination folder, it should show LogoB.
Who has a workable solution?
