We are in search of a talented freelancer to refine and elevate our website, focusing on both aesthetic and functional improvements. The existing template lays a strong foundation, but we believe it can be further optimized for a crisp, professional appearance. Below are the key tasks that we'd like you to undertake: 1. Theme Refinement: * Adjust the theme to enhance its overall crispness and professionalism. * Fine-tune design elements for a visually appealing and cohesive look. * Adjust the header and footer settings so that they're styled correctly. 2. Image Optimization: * Reformat all images for optimal loading times without compromising quality. 3. Home Page Enhancements: * Replace the background of the "have a question?" section with a visually appealing (optionally mushroom-related) image. * Address the "services" slider issues – halt its sliding with 3 or less items and troubleshoot its disappearance, documenting the process for future adjustments. For some reason the slider disappeared with a plugin or theme file update, but it can be seen on the theme's website. * Finish styling the page to make it aesthetically pleasing. Add things like blur boxes on the background images so that the text is readable and other changes you suggest to make it more aesthetically pleasing. * Style the "recipes" section at the bottom of the page, change the background image (something neutral is fine) and make this section aesthetically pleasing. 4. WooCommerce Update: * Update WooCommerce theme files and ensure the seamless operation of the theme. * Ensure all functionality is operational and styled correctly 5. Shop Page Fixes: * Rectify issues with the "shop" page, ensuring it displays a cohesive list of products. Redesign and style this page as necessary. 6. Single Product Page Overhaul: * Fix and style the single product page to ensure a visually pleasing and functional user experience. 7. About Us Page Styling: * Revamp the header styling of the "about us" page or consider image replacement for improved aesthetics. Design/style this page as necessary to make it more appealing. 8. Server Stability Investigation: * Investigate and resolve server crashing issues, potentially caused by unnecessary plugins. Streamline and optimize the plugin usage to enhance site stability. 9. Recipe Pages Creation: * Develop and style both a recipe list page and individual recipe pages using the "Delicious Recipes" plugin. 10. Express Shop Styling: * Utilize the "Express Shop" plugin to create a visually appealing single-page shop for expedited purchasing. Ensure proper integration and styling within the template. 11. Site optimization * Ensure the site is optimized with cacheing, small image files, and anything else that needs to be done to ensure the fastest load times after the design is complete. Requirements: Proven experience in web development and design, particularly with WordPress and WooCommerce. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and relevant web technologies.
