I am looking for an experienced WooCommerce developer to resolve a problem on a category page of my [login to view URL] category page not use classic pagination, we've a "show more products button" that load additional products using Ajax. Every time a customer navigates to a product page from the category page and hits the back button on browser, the page reloads, causing the customer to lose the position and the product visibility they had achieved. My store is currently using a cache plugin (we tried all famous plugins, however the issue appear also without cache enabled). Issue is very tricky to troubleshoot, very often all things works well but sometimes the issue appear (the easy method to reproduce is to login on frontend, go to category page, press on the "show more products button", choose a product, press back button on browser. You'll see the issue because for some reason for logged in user the problem is almost always present). For fixing issue is not enough to just test it, we've to be able to not see the issue coming back for 1/2 days because, usually, for fixing it is enough to clear browser cache but problem will come back in 1/2 hrs. Theme is totally custom. As per my requirements: - The category page should remember its state - loaded products and scroll position - so when the customer returns from the product page, the category page appears as they left it. Ideal skills and experience for the job: - Proficient with WooCommerce. - Familiarity with caching plugins. - Experience with similar projects or issues. - Solid knowledge of PHP and JavaScript and AJAX to manipulate WooCommerce's core functionalities if needed.
