Building a server application, and want symlinks on a smb-share to show as regular files (it is possible in samba). Need an expert in Mac smb-sharing, as this should be an easy thing to solve for any one with the right experience. This might include manipulating the file, and/or the plist for the server processes, or any other solution.
Since we replace ISP and Router, we can't access remote SMB folder in Linux server. The attempt always fails with an error code 0x80070035 when I try from Windows PC. I assume that there is an issue on Samba configuration in Linux server. We use Samba 4.2.10 on CentOS server.

I have 3 offices that need to communicate via VPN. Some of the services use netbios. A layer 2 solution would probably be the easiest for me. All 3 offices need to communicate with a Google cloud PBX, which will also need to be VPN'ed. The google cloud instance is Debian linux. The offices are Windows 7,10,2012,2016,2019 environments over cable modems. I'm looking for a solid design that will allow me to have essentially one network to manage so I can centralize resources. I'm on a budget, so I don't want to purchase multi-thousand dollar Cisco or Juniper devices, etc. They are all small, 2 or 3 person offices. Hi I am looking for help with joining a linux application "packetfence" using winbind service (samba,kerburos) to a server 2012 AD . At this point the linux machine account has been created automatically, but when using "net ads" join I getting a Kerberos pre –authentication error. The attached example scripts can be consolidated into the script called "" which is a Powershell script saved with *.txt to prevent blocking. I believe the Invoke-Command will need to be changed to use Get-WmiObject -Class Win32_NetWorkAdapterConfiguration.
