C#- Need to fetch 1 million records from Dot Net Core api within 2-3 seconds from mvc UI application and to show in jquery datatable

Well you won’t present all the 1 million records on the datatable at a time there would be a need of paging somehow and I have handled it a lot in past and have worked with huge databases and many records there are few things that needs to be kept in mind when handling such data
