Interactive Flash Educational Site

PROJECT DESCRIPTION We are a small design studio who have created an online learning environment for school ages that features Flash games (as3). The environment has been brilliantly designed by a professional illustrator and will look great on anyone's CV. Unfortunately, prior to wrapping the project up, our previous developer has moved without much warning and left us needing someone to help finish it off. The English version of the game is nearly completed, and just requires several routine tasks to finish it off. However we still need to create the bilingual version, which we planned to do using xml for the most part. We have all translations and it is simply a case of duplicated of once the English version is complete, duplicating it and changing the text and game introductions. It's very difficult to explain the project briefly, but a development wiki exists, as well as flow charts and a myriad of other information, all prepared ready for whoever comes on board. In short, the project showcases flash games within a html page that connects to a mysql database to store user info, results and high scores. A user can play each game to earn medals depending how well they go. The games are opened from a map (see included image). REQUIREMENTS The tasks that are required can be summarised as below: - Minimal number of small task changes, such as new buttons and new copyright text being added and the removal of some other items. - Change main environment background (this is just a small adjustment to an FLA file.) - Change game names on map. - Change transitions that occur when opening a game (one game has been done, another 13 to do). - Add close buttons to games so they can be quit at any time. - Add new intros to games (intros are already prepared by us and have been added to some, they just need to be added to the rest - around 10 games.) - Create the bilingual version of the game.
