Are the postcode is present in any of the object inside salesforce and you want the custom search to be implemented for this? What is the logic of checking records of 5 KM nearby? Is there any integrations involved here?

Hi! I would have this set up in a new tab where in the team can enter a postcode and click search. The results will be sorted by proximity to the entered zip code with an additional option to sort alphabetically. It can be built to retrieve list of Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities or any custom objects that you have in the Salesforce instance. I built a similar functionality using the Google maps where the sales team needed to view distance retrieved based on entered address. In the backend I'll write the salesforce apex code using an address API that will retrieve list of postcodes and then on retrieve list of records to show on the page.
