Python Code Developer Temp to Perm Position

Prolora provides IoT/IIoT Edge solutions integrating various local devices, PLCs, peer systems, and related data sources with remote databases, portals and users using our proprietary platform based on Linux and running on ARM-based hardware. We are looking for a Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various modules on our Linux-based platform. Will consider entry-level candidates with solid educational credentials. You will work side-by-side with the Founder, other team members, and other stakeholders (both partners and our clients’ staff) to deliver quality, well thought out microservices that are scalable and reusable on our platform. Python Developer responsibilities include writing and testing code, debugging programs and integrating applications with third-party web services. You will help integrate our client’s legacy environments with remote systems and portals in wired and wireless environments, primarily using cellular/satellite interfaces. We operate at a combination of AC and battery/solar powered field locations. We seek provable proficiently in the following programs: PYTHON DJANGO AMAZON WEB SERVCIES JAVASCRIPT NGINX CELERY MODBUS GIT GITHUB HTML 5 CSS While the majority of the work is home based, we seek someone that can meet in the Plano, TX office on a semi-weekly basis.
